The Lionhead Rabbit is not recognized in the US by the American Rabbit Breeders Association. They are however, recognized by the British Rabbit Council. Please see their website for helpful information. The US Lionhead Community has been working on getting the Lionhead Rabbit recognized in the US. You can still show these rabbits at US Rabbit Shows at Open Shows (non-Sanctioned), or at National Conventions each year. You can still win awards/ribbons however, you will not be able to compete for Grand Champion awards until they are recognized as a Sactioned Breed.
We are starting a new Lionhead Group here in the Rocky Mountains. Feel free to join in!
What We Do
We are a small Utah based rabbit breeder. Focusing on the Blue-Eyed White Lionhead, as they are the most enchanted looking of them all. They are such a beautiful animal and very rare to come by. We are also breeding other colors such as Chocolate, Siamese Sable, and Tort's (Tan Shaded color).
We also rescue bunnies and find homes for them if we don't keep them.
